Ruben Studdard, the winner of American Idol 2003, will star in the Tony Award-winning musical “Ain’t Misbehavin’” for five performances from Jan. 9 to 11 at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia.

Trenyce stars as Charlaine in "Ain't Misbehavin"

Trenyce plays Charlaine in the hit musical “Ain’t Misbehavin” which opens in New York on  Nov. 13th for a national tour. The show stars Season 2 winner Ruben Studdard and Frenchie Davis, who was eliminated the same season during the Hollywood round. Ain’t Misbehavin’ stops in Syracuse May 12 through May 14, and wraps in Binghamton on May 17.

Since leaving Idol, Trenyce has appeared in a number of stage productions, including David E. Talbert’s Love in the Nick of Tyme, The Vagina Monologues, Soul Kittens Cabaret and Not a Day Goes By, based on the best-selling book by E. Lynn Harris. More information about the play can be found here.

Vincent M. Ward stars in Stephen Fife’s new play “Savage World” from October 15-November 23, 2008. The play focuses on Calvin “Savage” James, a champion Black boxer imprisoned for the murder of a Jewish couple slain during the Newark riots of 1967. The cast will include Tom Badal, Roger Bridges, Gary Colon, Darin Dahms, Stan Davis, Nate Geez, Eileen Grubba, Travis Michael Holder, Caryl Ingersoll, Erik Passoja, Elain Rhinehart, Latarsha Rose, Kathryn Taylor, and Vincent Ward.
